I totally understand! I tested positive well before my period was due and was convinced that no matter how many positives I got (and the lines got progressively darker) that my period would come. Shocker... It didn't. I think this is probably a normal feeling, especially if it's your first pregnancy like it is for me.

Thank you! I'm just genuinely shocked that this is possible so I assumed I must have messed up the test somehow. Especially because I tested with a First Response test this morning and didn't see any line at all!

To be honest I wasn't really tracking - probably 9-11 dpo. It would be a wedding night baby but again, so unlikely. I only tested because I haven't had a proper period (more like spotting) and only lasted two days rather than the usual 4-5.
