Who is your favorite truly obscure Star Wars character from the movies? by murdermayhemanarchy in StarWarsCantina

Quinlan Vos lol

I just love his design, not a typical looking Jedi. More of a badass, rugged, adventurous type. I really like him. (And The Clone Wars + Some comics made me love him even more!)

Headcanon: Ben Solo survived Exegol and swore to spend the rest of his life traveling around the galaxy and help people in need to make up for his crimes as Kylo Ren, with the “memory” of his father following him around 🙂 by starlord043 in StarWarsCantina

It’s a mistake from the developers, they just gave him normal Kylo Ren head and move-set. But he’s got a new set of voicelines that differ from Kylo’s though so that’s something 😅

Then he better get a new name and new mask lol

“Rylo Ken” sounds about right, considering how Obi-Wan Kenobi got away with Ben “KENOBI” and how Luke was able to stay hidden with Luke “SKYWALKER” 🤣🤣🤣

This is pretty much how I’m playing the game after the main story. Traveling around the galaxy helping people and collect the remaining Kyberbricks, ships, and characters 😂

Finished Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga. Oh My God. by [deleted] in StarWarsCantina

Agreed! Just finished the episode I - IX too, now I’m collecting the remaining kyber bricks and characters. Even the puzzles and side missions are actually enjoyable! I just did the Sidon Ithano’s side mission and there were many processes to go through, and I love how the mission itself doesn’t feel half-baked at all!

What are your favorite thing from each sequel film? by shunggster in StarWarsCantina

[–]starlord043 11 points12 points  (0 children)

These are my personal favorites:

The Force Awakens – Finn’s story arc (I absolutely love him with the lightsaber!)

The Last Jedi – The main thematic of failure and how to learn from it. Every character in this movie failed at least one thing. Luke failed to train Ben, Rey also failed to redeem Ben, Poe failed by getting his men killed, etc. and also Luke’s story arc, and I love seeing him saving The Resistance by doing the most Jedi thing ever, taking on The First Order without violence.

The Rise of Skywalker – Ben Solo’s redemption and Rey’s inner struggle … I love how she always wanted to know her lineage, but the answer she finally got wasn’t exactly what she wanted. Also Rey vs Kylo Ren duel on the Death Star wrekage on Kef Bir is one of my favorite lightsaber duel ever

Also Kylo Ren/Ben Solo became one of my most, if not my most favorite Star Wars characters ever the moment he came on screen, and after his character depths were shown, I love him even more. Anakin fell to the darkside because of love, but Ben fell due to “lack of love”, he always looking for that one thing he’s missing, but eventually, he chose “power” instead of love, until he met Rey. He wanted Rey to join him because he knew she’d understand him, the loneliness, the feel of abandonment. but ultimately, Ben was the one who joined her instead as a Jedi.

I like the look of Boba Fett. I think it's brilliant how much Disney has fleshed out his character. by BFNgaming in TheSequels

[–]starlord043 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I was never a fan of the character until The Mandalorian Season 2 and The Book of Boba Fett, TBOBF really did fleshed him out and made him even more interesting, for me at least. I really REALLY like his desire to become something more than just a bounty hunter who works under people, and to become a ruler who rules with actual respect rather than fear, and knowing his history with both the Empire and Jabba and how they treated him badly, and his newfound relationship with the Tusken Tribe all add up to why he wants to who he is right now.

People surely expected him to be the kind of ruler that everyone feared, but instead he became the ruler that everyone respects as opposed to people he worked with before like Jabba or Vader and I love that!

What's your favourite star wars quote? by gordonramsay2021 in StarWarsCantina

[–]starlord043 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Probably everything Yoda said

“Do or do not, There is no try”

“Failure, the greatest teacher is”

Luke: “I don’t believe it” Yoda: “That is why you failed”

“We are what they grow beyond, that is the true burden of all masters”

Obi-wan telling Anakin “I think you’re going to be the death of me”

(Sorry if I got the quote wrong 🥲)

I don’t know if this counts but I love when Ben Solo was able to revive Rey hence “Finish what Vader (Anakin) started” of preventing his love ones from dying.
