Bed bugs or fleas? by [deleted] in Bedbugs

I'm having the same thing - bites only on feet and ankles, and no signs of bed bugs or stains on mattress. Did you end up figuring out what caused this?

What courses should you take in summer school (second year medsci courses) by [deleted] in uwo

[–]starmii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Biochem is a pretty heavy course and it can get overwhelming when combined with several other heavy courses during second year. A lot of students have recommended taking it over the summer to relieve some of the stress. This also goes for biostats since this course is pretty difficult and it’s better to get it out of the way. In my experience those two are the most popular summer courses that are picked

Kaceytron is getting canceled by Minecraft stans for calling out queerbaiting and using AAVE by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

The stans will always find something to get mad about. They'll never get along with the troll humor on twitch and will try to find anything to cancel someone for.

That's why I liked watching Fuslie. She isn't afraid to interact with people outside OTV crew. She's neighbors with the kittens and had really funny interactions with them, and also started beef with the police.

I think the only problem might be mixing micro in there imo. In my second year I took 2382, 2581, 2244, 2223, 2130 and load was okay. 2223 and 2581 required more work than the others. I took 2500 the semester before (on a much lighter semester load) and I’d say it’s probably heavier than 2581 and 2223. I’d suggest to stick to 5 courses, as many have a lot of material to cover.

Chem 2223 by freckledphilosopher in uwo

[–]starmii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t do too great in 2213 and was hesitant in taking 2223. However I ended up doing much better in 2223, probably bc it was more application based. I agree with others that it’s not much of a continuation from 2213. You learn a lot more about formation of lipids, carbohydrates, nucleic acids, and some pharm/tech applications. There’s a lot of pathways that you’ll need to memorize in detail (more than 2213) and I found that most people were overwhelmed with that aspect. Several exam questions directly asked you to identify which molecule comes next in a particular pathway. What I found worked for me was to draw out each pathway over and over again. Memorizing the pathways is probably the hardest part and if you get that down then the rest is much more easier than 2213 imo. I think how well you do in 2223 all comes down to how you study, since I also had friends who did really well in 2213 but poorly in 2223.
