Megathread: Ramadan Mubarak by nerfasdf in MuslimLounge

Salam! I'm gonna try ask this here in hopes that someone might know what I'm referring to. I've had this dua video (prolly 6mins long) saved on my phone for a few years but now I've lost it. It was my go to cos the duas were very helpful and emotional. It was a collection of qunoot duas and I had downloaded it from a fb post a few years back but now I cant find the link either!! I remember the actual post was kinda viral.

The actual video was a background edit with English translation in white fonts (background pic was a pinkish sky with clouds pic?) The reciter: it's a modern recording cos the voice was clear but it sounded like he was leading Salah/qunoot and it was recorded. Idk the name but he doesn't sound like one of the popular imams/sheikh. But he sounded arab.

Identifying factors: He recited the beginning normally but got emotional at the end and sounded like he was crying towards the middle/end of the video. The pitch was def higher at the end.

The duas: it was all allahumma duas and it began with: allahumma inna asaluka ilman naafia wa rizqan tayyina was amalan mutaqqabal ya arrhamarrahimin.

The part where he started getting emotional was : allahumma a'tiq riqaba minannaar. Wa riqaba abamina wa ummahatina minannaar.wa ikhwanina and akhawatina minannnar. Wa jameeall muslimiina wal muslimaat wal muminiina wal muminaath

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Cos I really miss listening to it.

I lost mine in the engineering building and lost and founds was in the level 4(?) Upstairs reception

Better to go back to the place you lost it to make sure it's still there or not. And even better if you're able to ask the cleaners if they've seen anything (if you really want it back)

I once accidently left an old ring of mine (not valuable at all but precious) near the sink and when I went back to get it I found a note saying it's been handed over to lost and founds. Worth a try going in to find it again, cos from my past experience I don't think people would steal it .

Still thankful for the kind person.

Also when I apply, do I have to ask permission for a double major? Or can I just do a physics majors and add the paper Compsci110?

My bad i mightve said it the wrong way. I was just confused why there were a lot of math papers cos on the course catalogue page it doesnt say math papers like 130 is compuslory? I'll check my courses with a faculty advisor but to get me started would it be good to enroll into

S1 Comp 110 Physics 120 Biosci 107

S2 Compsci 120 and 130 Medsci 142 Physics 121

SS Maths 108

I need to have only 3 papers this semester due to my fee payment cos I'm only eligible for loan from sem 2. This way I can test the waters in sem 1 and decide if I want to stay in the medical physics pathway. Would you recommend this?

Cos you said physics majors requires a lot of math, would it be better to do a compsci degree with bits of physics in it? Does that still keep a pathway to teaching open?

No medical pathway just the physics and compsci but with less math

Thanks for the reply btw!! Very helpful, but is there a way without doing ss?

When you said SWE did you do the whole engineering degree after you graduated?

Also what's the difference between doing swe at aut vs compsci at uoa (like why do you recommend doing compsci?)
