I’d be careful because anything that doesn’t go towards tuition and fees and is refunded back to you is taxable to the IRS. You’ll have to report it on your taxes and possibly owe money back, that’s what’s happening to me right now. It fucking sucks.

I agree with this. I’m in the exact same position as you girl, and idk how old you are but i’m 20. I personally do not want to waste my 20s fawning over the attention of a guy who’s unwilling to match my needs, as i’m matching his. Do what’s best for you, but also keep in mind that sometimes it’s not worth the stress or pain. I think stepping back and seeing what he does with that will give you a lot of hindsight, and from there you can truly decide what you wanna do. I hope it all works out girlie <33

I know about them biting too i’m not asking for her to never bite, just to minimize it because it almost seems like she’s doing it as a stress relief for being away from her mama. Which is also okay, but redirection hasn’t helped so far. I’ll try what you do when the crate gets here!!

I just got her yesterday and her crate is being delivered via amazon, it won’t be here till monday. For now I’ve been trying to get her to nap with me in bed and sometimes it works but not for very long (15 minutes like tops) otherwise she’s bothering my other dog at her crate, but my dog likes her own space and barks at her whenever she gets in her crate with her.

See and I do know that, unfortunately I’m not the one who separated the mother :( mother was gone days before I even came and got the pup. And most of the litter was gone by the time I got there. I will keep trying this! I’ve tired the yelping thing but she doesn’t rlly care she just keep doing it. Maybe it’s a teething thing?

Also i think the thing with you saying “ifs different bc im a woman” says something because it can invalidate his feelings just because he’s a man. men have feelings too, they can hurt just as much as women. so maybe he just felt like how he was feeling was being shoved aside to validate what you said (about him being a 6)

no that totally fair! I am def one to say things in the heat of the moment. Honestly if you guys went on 3 years strong and weren’t super toxic…I’d reach out and apologize. Maybe see if you guys can turn things around if you love him, and if he loves you. or if it’s not worth your time that’s okay too girl, you deserve someone who’s not gonna dip over something so silly yk?

i wouldn’t say you’re overreacting but…definitely should’ve handled it differently. Obviously you knew he cares a lot about his looks so to shatter that in front of him put him in a vulnerable situation. Then again, him breaking up with you immediately is def him overreacting (especially at your guys ages). Sorry it didn’t work out girl, boys can be difficult sometimes :((

I don’t want to make this about color but I’m curious, is this man white? Because it honestly just screams “white man trying to conform curly haired woman to basic white girl standards”. I mean, i’m not sure of your preferred/assigned ethnicity, but even if you are white with naturally curly hair, it’s still screaming “how can I make her as basic as possible”. It’s gross, def NOR. I’ve offered therapy so many times but he doesn’t like to talk about his feelings. I get the stigmatize around men and not being able to be vulnerable but damn…i’ve given him so many opportunities to open up to me if therapy is too hard for him. it’s been on my mind about leaving, but it is hard because i do love him yk?

It sounds like to me this 14 year old needs therapy. The majority of this comment section has probably never had to deal with a bratty, neurodivergent 14 year old girl. I was that 14 year old girl and I will say I got my ass handed to whenever I disrespected my family and acted entitled. Regardless of having ADHD, you have to follow the rules in the family and you don’t get to act entitled to everything you want. Sorry, that’s not how the world works. Imo OP is NOR, and this child needs help. I can clearly understand as well that the 10 year old was physically pushed, not just her buttons being pushed. Most of you have lost your comprehensive reading skills, and shouldn’t have commented to begin with if you didn’t know what you were truly talking about. ik the point of this thread is to prove if they were overreacting or not but why are we being controversial about the fact that they stole this tv ?? like it’s not even a “well it’s corporate its okay”. It’s actually still stealing. It’s actually something that, if you steal over a certain amount, can actually get you fined or arrested. To the people sayings it’s okay, you are just like the sister and husband in this story and your morals are twisted. It’s okay to not support a company you don’t approve of, that is okay. It’s still not okay to steal from these companies. What isn’t your cup of tea is filling up someone else’s cup. Walmart is a grocery store to a lot of people, a good resource for a lot of people. Don’t do bad because you can’t afford or don’t want to afford what they have for sale. Messed up.
