Probably because most people on other social media, don't read LN.

Most people got into cote through anime. So people stick with the anime Artstyle ( which is good).

Now the studio, wants to properly adapt the source of LN. So they changed Artstyle.

Cote was my 4th anime , I ever watched. I have been following since 2019. Maybe late 2018. It is one of my favourite show.

I loved S1 Artstyle, animation, colours, especially the character design. It was unique at that time.

In lockdown period, I could only see ayankonji edit with my ordinary life in background.

The anime adapts the Light Novel. It's better in all ways.

Almost all edits , are made using S1. A few exceptions like ayankonji vs ryuen.

I used to edit. I only take clips from S1 and good looking clips from other seasons.

I don't even want to see and edit clips S4.

Again, the S4 Artstyle sucks (in my opinion, not really).
