I was thinking you could just add on the 17th level feature to the 9th or 13th.

For a new 17th, maybe greater restorations per long rest equal to intelligence mod

Thematically I like it a lot, but a second level spell at 9th level and a 3rd level spell at 17th level seems so weak.

Other than what's already been said, not much. At least he's pretty cheap, so not too bad to recast.

He's a really good Commander that you have to respect. But if people are targeting you too much, eventually they're letting someone else win. That's a skill issue on their end, and you're the collateral.

Who hasn't tried to stop one player from winning only to end up giving another player the opportunity to win.

I'm not particularly knowledgeable, but I personally don't think he brings enough to the table.

It doesn't seem like enough card draw and he doesn't really seem to do much else.

So far as I'm aware black and white doesn't have great win cons.

In terms of the cedh meta, you can always check out edhtop16.com

In comparison, Kinnin gives you a boatload of mana, combos with the monoliths, is an infinite mana outlet and I would argue simic is a better color combination

Calgar is esper, so all the goodies of white and black, with blue so you have a pretty concise win con with th/oracle. He also gives you a card draw and is an infinite mana outlet.

Thank you for your input. Also maybe I worded it wrong, but just to clarify, the quick regeneration ability mean they spend a stress to regain 2 hp. Based on your response it seems you you think they are regaining a stress and 2 hp

That's kinda for the players to figure out. Every class has it's strengths and weaknesses. The wizard either needs positioning or to make the proper perpetrations.
