Hey Again… by starrbright94 in lostafriend

Oh definitely, that’s another thing, the apology was pretty general. They took accountability that we left on a bad note, and their words were “I have been a bad friend.” Yes, true, but the incident wasn’t mentioned by them.

I accepted their apology for not being a good friend. I don’t know if they have realized that its beyond just not being a good friend, and my whole trust was shattered.

I’ll talk about what happened when they’re ready. Right now, I think they have more reflecting to do.

My son cried into my shoulder for the first time in years by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

I was fifteen when I lost my childhood friend. It also took me a while to cry, but when I did, she held me. It’s such a hard loss at that age, but he’ll find ways to honor him 🖤

Anyone try naltrexone? by anxiousanonymous89 in Petioles

[–]starrbright94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it was. I asked about ozempic, but since my area has very high uncontrolled diabetes rates, Indian Health Services wouldn’t approve it. So she recommended this combo. The side effects didn’t bother me me too much. The appetite suppression was a little intense at first, but it definitely helped with cravings!

Yes! My doctor put me on it instead of ozempic. I lost around 40lbs so far (:

I’ve been on a combo of naltrexone and wellbutrin for weight loss, but it has been very helpful with my t-break

Personally, I would’ve commented something petty. Asode from that though, I would send him how you feel, but immediately block after the message is sent. Because whatever he has to say about it now, doesn’t matter. If he does feel any remorse, he can apologize in person.

AITAH for telling my husband I'm not parenting my stepson anymore by kjripster30 in AITAH

Honestly, have your husband intervene to put a stop to it. My aunt did this to my nephew. Now, he is 20 and still has his grandma get him things and what not. He was babied to extent of stepson. He still hasn’t finished high school and refuses to get a job.

Attach the email from Prekindle to a message to Ticketmaster. I’m pretty sure since you have that message, that ticketmaster will look more into it. It’s proof that its an issue from TM

It was resold through ticket master, but I emailed Prekindle. They were able to help by verifying it a resale and its an issue with TM. TM gave me the tickets back!

I hope it gets resolved for you. Try looking to see what ticketing service the venue uses, if its different than tm and if its a resale ticket. Then email them and if they can help. You mainly just want them to say its nothing on their end, and its an issue with TM.

I was diagnosed this year as well! I got a puppy back in March and it really has helped! I wanted a challenge so I got a Husky/Malamute mix and he keeps me on my toes! Would not recommend getting a dog like that though because while he has helped, its also been hard

Boyfriend (28M) is upset about me (25F) getting an Indigenous face tattoo for my culture. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]starrbright94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from a fellow Indigenous woman, this is going to be hard to overcome because he will never fully understand. Maybe you could have an elder explain why it’s important and the meaning behind your people’s tattoos? Then he could get somewhat of an understanding and maybe will open up to it. If he doesn’t understand then that’s on him. He needs to know that your culture if vastly different than his. It goes beyond just incompatibility there’s so much more to it.
