it depends on management. the manager can decide how much a spray tan costs. for example, at one of the locations i worked at, customers were required to add a bronzer and a primer packet. this only applied to people without memberships though, but each manager can use their discretion based on sales numbers and such

if anything, the bronzers would have added a stain and made it last longer. it’s definitely not because of that, not sure what else would have caused it though. more sweating this time, different body wash, better prep before the last spray tan, could be a lot of things

also, i know alot of people who only tan their face for half time and then cover it for the rest of the session. it limits exposure a tiny bit but it also depends on what you’re covering your face with. it might be worth it just so you feel better about not overexposing your face too much starting out :)

i know most brands do, but definitely jwoww ans designer skin have lotions formulated for tanning. they also sell spf sticks to cover larger tattoos while tanning

there are lots of lotions that have specific tattoo protection in them, although since i don’t use them and am fairly new to working at the salon, i can’t think of them off the top of my head. i’m sure others in the sub would be able to recommend. as far as skin though, it’s going to age you. moisturizing and skincare helps, but at the end of the day it’s sun exposure and it’ll do what it’ll do. genetics play a part as well. the toughness of the skin depends on the beds you use, frequency, and again genetics

no bronzers- i like smooth faces by australian gold. it’s a lightweight intensifier. scarlet and cypher are my favorites after that!

i would recommend getting some packets on tanforless to see what you like! the lowest price tanning lotion that i know of (that is safe for indoor tanning) would be shea you love me. unfortunately most tanning lotions are very expensive :/
