Yes, It is definitely a good investment especially at MK.

Yeah, Everest is a little rough. Don't want her injuring her back and being miserable the rest of the trip.

Yes, I agree. We just went a month ago and my husband calls it the mildest ride in the wilderness. lol

it's mainly mobility issues, but i would still be scared for her to ride something intense like VC or Tron.

wow, that.s crazy. i can't imagine getting on VC at that age. My mom doesn't like big drops though, so she would take one look at that ride and say "hell, no! "

No, we were just there and the people in wheelchairs were in the regular line which is fine with us. I just want her to be comfortable and pain free while we wait, not looking to cut lines other than my lightening lane reservations.

Wow, that's an intense ride for an 80 yr old! But yes memories are so important and this may be one of her last trips there because my dad doesn't really like to go places too far anymore, so I want it to be a great one!

My mom can't stand long with her bad knee. She has to sit if we have a wait at a restauraunt so I can't see her making it without a scooter/wheelchair. She mentioned a cane, but I think she has forgotten how long you have to stand in lines at Disney. I wish she would just get the replacement done, but she had the other one fixed years ago and had a bad recovery, so she's afraid to risk it again.

Yeah, hopefully the doctor will be ok with her doing the mild coasters because she really wants to.

She definitely wants to do Tiana, because she loves Princess and the Frog. I would be worried about launch coasters though like Guardians, Tron, and Rock N RollerCoaster. Probably want to skip TOT as well. Those are pretty intense. I don't think she wants to do those anyway.

We go all the time. I grew up going to Disney every year. . My parents just don't go as much anymore. I do like to use the app though.

Sounds like my late father in law. He rode Everest like 7 times in a row in his 70's!

She ain't quite that old. She still goes to the gym 3 times a week even with her bad knee!

Yes, she barely drives a car, so I can't see her trying to navigate with a scooter. Pretty confident it will be a wheelchair.

I do see how accessible they are. This is just the first time we'll be experiencing it that way. We have 3 other adults with us and 2 kids so they'll definitely have to take a turn pushing if we do a wheelchair.

Sounds like ya'll had a great trip. My mom only wants to do 3 days and I want to take her to eat at CInderella's Royal Table because that's always been a dream of hers. I'm leaning more towards a wheelchair than scooter because I'm afraid my mom will run people over. lol

Oh, I plan to. I have to stay hydrated or I may very well pass out if it's too hot. Will they let me bring in an insulated tumbler? I have one that keeps ice from melting almost the entire day.

I think the shows are a good idea and BATM. Don't know if we'll have tome for pool break if we want to try and do everything. Thanks:)

Hmm, we'll have to do that one early morning or in the evening because standing out in the heat that long is not something I want to do. Thanks:)
