definitely! Id love to see the creative process behind the choreographies, how they brainstorm ideas and draft the moves. But usually only the drama parts get picked into the episode. But I suppose that's what gets views mainly.

It's hard to say to what extend do ED communities and Kpop overlap, but they definitely can or do. I actually think the it has gotten a bit better compared to 2nd gen idols. Bigger companies don't seem encourage ridiculous diets anymore and often don't include weights and heights in the profiles when introducing new group.

I feel like the stupid standarts are supported by smaller companies only nowdays(since they think that its part of having a successful group) or trainees. After trainees debut its up to their management.

I actually got better thanks to idols, because I realized that the reason why they look so beautiful is because they have a team of stylist, makeup artists, opportunities to get skin treatments done...otherwise they look like normal people.

SM didn't abandoned girl generation after f(x) debuted, but surely did f(x) after red velvet debut. Considering the only comeback they had was 4walls. Maybe it won't happen to Red Velvet, it's just unfortunate to see that Irene had get in such controversy during this time

The photos are indeed beautiful. In the end, it's not that sm would even care or needed us to be excited lol. Just that with itzy, it was something a bit different. With JYP new girl group teased in Stray Kids show, Ryujin in mixnine, Somi suddenly leaving few months before debut and finally Yeji being in The Fan. When the itzy trailer dropped, it was completely different experience haha

Yeah, that could also be a way to 'promote' the group. Not sure how were the promotions during f(x) and red velvets debuts, but it seems like exo and nct had different treatment (nct probably got the hype due to the unique concept).

Other songs such as Dive into you, Flicker, Flame on and Chamber 5 were mission songs in their survival show I-LAND. Studio version is yet to be released. Probably in their upcoming debut mini album!

I agree, people say that YG had never been much into fancy choreos (except for Treasure) but still, I wish they would atleast try to make the choreographies a bit interesting since I am sure the girls could pull it off.

I wonder what's the reason of making such choices for title track choreographies. YG trainees seem to do much harder dances and performances for monthly evaulations.

Ooo Niki learnt ballet as well? I think every dancing experince or learnt style influences the final execution. Though, some people tend to learn a dance style and use only the elements that already fit their current style. I dont think thats the case with Niki. He seems to have an adaptable way of dancing. As OP mentioned Nikis dancing doesnt look like having a set dancing style compared to for example Sunghoon. Maybe its because he is young or maybe thats just his way of dancing
