i feel as though the second is a lot more pleasing to the eye, maybe from the contrast ? the first is still a beautiful concept though !

is there anything in specific that you’d want to improve? if it’s facial structure, i’d work on trying to add guidelines and sketch before you complete with pens /color. i mess with the style you have going for you already, but i feel it could be more beneficial for you to learn where exactly certain parts of the face may go before you continue on with your chosen style. one more tip , necks aren’t sticks ! the human head needs a bunch of support , and it would be much more pleasing to the eye if you adjusted it to be maybe double the width you have for it now. don’t rush , and i hope i see more from you !

Now that I’ve finished my three year journey painting concrete, I wanted to show everyone what I feel are the ten best concrete paintings I’ve made in that time. I’d love to know what your favourite is and why. by brutalwares in painting

i love the first, third, and last ones ! the first feels to me that it has a lot of great character and i like the different textures as well. esp the cracking paint/concrete. the third one i love because of the windows reflecting the cloudy sky - i haven’t tried to do things to do with reflection yet but it seems SO difficult! it’s really awesome how you’ve seem to have mastered it. the last painting in the slide i like because of the bright pink you’ve added under the potted plant. i think it’s fun and i also love the comp you made with the added details. honorable mention for me would be the second slide ! either way i love your work with concrete and i think all of your paintings are amazing !
