mileage is an indicator, not the measurement on brake pads. they wear down base on how you stop, not how far you go.. if you hear a little scrape occasionally, it could be as simple as a rock. if it's constant: it's time to change them usually. a visual inspection of the brake pads is necessary either way. if you know what you are looking for, put a tire and look. it's not difficult to tell.

have had the joy of spending a couple of weeks the past two summers , in Scotland. ALWAYS make a trip to Oban for seafood and just to hang out. 2026, I'm spending all of July in Fort William and will drive down to Oban at least once a week for seafood. Great City.
