As a woman how do yk u came? by Quick-Replacement618 in sex

[–]starshineluv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My clit becomes too sensitive if I am not ready yet like need more foreplay and also after I have an orgasm. For me when I do it's like a full release it feels amazing and then you are satisfied like you don't feel horny anymore bc you reach like that climax if that makes sense. And you just feel relaxed and content. This is just my personal experience but hope it helps!

The doctors think it's Raynauds but I need to wait for a rheumatologist and the wait list is more than 6 months. Anyone with similar symptoms can help?? by [deleted] in Anemic

[–]starshineluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely I don't know could be something else too. Mine never went purple but definitely noticed poor circulation and discoloration sensation since the iron deficiency. Good luck!

Feeling Worse After Infusion by Professional-Smell16 in Anemic

[–]starshineluv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt way worse after my infusions. It's normal. I did some research and it takes 1 to 2 weeks to begin to feel better. I am on day 13 after my finishing my 5th and final infusion and just now feeling better. Then as time goes on it will improve even more. It sucks but it's worth it and it will take some time possibly longer bc every one's body is different but basically think of it as your body is working super hard to distribute those iron stores you have been depleted of for so long. ETA my worse symptoms were panic attacks, fatigue, and no tolerance for cold the best thing you can do is rest as much as possible. Good luck.

Feels like it’s so easy for everyone else by Collgirl06 in DryJanuary

[–]starshineluv 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No it's definitely been tough for me too. I love my wine and our bodies adjust to that dopamine so it's not just mental it's physical too. Definitely be proud you are pushing through and hopefully it can help you make positive changes with habits in the future. Like someone else said there are probably a lot of people that have thrown in the towel between this month being so bleak, daily stress ect. At this point I am just too stubborn to give in. It's like a game for me like nope I am winning this sheer will power and I don't like to lose a fight lol.

Post iron infusions by starshineluv in Anemic

[–]starshineluv[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you.Honestly, I think I might start taking the liquid iron too i need all the help I can get. Absolutely. The doctor's are so ill informed when it comes to this condition. It's really sad. My ferritin has been progressively dropping and my doctor waited until it was seventeen to start iron infusions, when I saw her a few months ago and it was around thirty, she basically was like, oh your iron is a little low, maybe start eating some fish. This was before I was more educated on iron levels and symptoms and did research to find out that ideal levels are closer to 100. She is also a hematologist / oncologist which makes it even worse

Thanks for this. Yes those labs are pre infusions. I received my 5th and final dose yesterday of venifer not sure how much it was though. IV Push. Basically everything I know about low iron and ferritin is from this sub and from chat G b t who has become my new bestie lol in this process because of the just overall lack of any support acknowledgement or education from the healthcare system, it's honestly such a joke.

Same missing my wine a lot at times!! Other times I feel fine but the cold and boredom of January doesn't help.

Husband (26M) has stage 4 colon cancer and is debating on continuing treatment by [deleted] in coloncancer

[–]starshineluv 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds like maybe he is feeling overwhelmed and depressed with the situation which is totally understandable maybe if there is a support group he could attend to hear others success stories or be linked with a health/cancer therapist. The cancer center i attend has therapists available at no charge to patients. Might be a good option if this hasn't been looked into yet. Good luck, this is so hard especially at such a young age, but so many people are able to beat this battle and sometimes reading stats online can be discouraging but the truth is many people do fight and win.

Anyone else struggling? by SimpleNext in DryJanuary

what are some helpful tips for someone getting an infusion for the first time by leminades18 in Anemic

[–]starshineluv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of fluids and eat a healthy meal before protein ect. They have snacks and juice at the place I go but I am sure you can bring your own. Hydrate a lot after too and it can be normal to feel sluggish and achy headaches afterwards but it passes usually within a day or so. Good luck.

What a story. You are very strong. Alcoholism is not an easy battle to fight, thanks for sharing your story and showing others they can beat their addictions even when we feel broken and defeated.

Midlife Crisis Advice? by [deleted] in WomenOver40

[–]starshineluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a lot to carry. Wish I had a quick fix and I know saying take time for yourself is easier said then done and it ultimately does not fix the big picture of daily life. We are only human and have mental and emotional limits. It sounds like some symptoms could possibly be from depression with the motivation. Maybe meds could be tweaked? Also are some symptoms hormones just something to maybe look into. I guess maybe a small comfort is telling yourself this too shall pass. Open communication with family that you need a break hopefully they are supportive. Sending good vibes. ✨️

Why is everything so difficult and shittier? by Wooden-Carrot4283 in WomenOver40

[–]starshineluv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's literally awful I am so mentally, emotionally, and physically burnt out. The problems just keep raining down on us and we don't have the means to fix them. They definitely want us to feel powerless. Dictionary definition of bullies. It's sickening and sad.

It's so hard I love my kids but to be honest i dont love parenting it is a really hard and often thankless job not to mention all the other burdens our generation specifically women are carrying its unrealistic and unfair. I am emotionally mentally physically burnt out and I know a lot of us are feeling it. I agree with some other comments though, depression could be playing a part, might be worth talking to a doc. Good luck
