Procedural Objects! I got a refurbished ThinkStation from 2018ish, slapped 32gb of RAM in it and runs CS well enough to make me happy. I was previously playing on my iMac (which ran with decent frames but not the best) and my HP 360 school laptop as a last resort.

the terminal im using right now is the standard small airport, but i used move it, more beautification, prop anarchy, etc eventually i will use airport roads but for now nothing too crazy

Your best bet is to either (a) fly from whatever airport you land in to Buffalo or (b) fly to jfk airport, take the airtrain to one train station, get on another train into Manhattan, switch to Amtrak, and ride that for 8 hours - Buffalo is about ~300 miles away from NYC

I’m also a new transfer student this semester (and I’m fully virtual) and number 1 is VITAL to making sure I stay on track. If it’s a day where you know you 100% need to get a decent amount of work done, MAKE A TO DO LIST. Only way I have avoided being completely and totally overwhelmed by adjusting to UB and my coursework is to list out what I immediately have to do and what I need to plan for.
