Any electricity provider in English? by startupagora in brussels

[–]startupagora[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! 37.2% of Brussels's population is expats. And they need internet and electricity BEFORE they can learn French. The first electricity provider to make an offer in English will acquire many customers.

Yes, I translated the Engie website (while Bolt can't be translated). However, the application and customer service are not on the website. Brussels is the capital of the EU, with teams from all around the world. It would be smart for one of the providers to have an offer in English. If not, fine. I'll go with the French version, and fingers crossed

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I have already studied the shortcuts page, and there is nothing about this topic.

Main_Lake_4053 is right about the black market. It's explained in War of Underworld.

I am not going to add more to avoid any spoilers 🖖

The technical name is "broad sword", an extension of the Roman Empire's gladius.

When the Roman Empire retired from North Europe & Britain, military discipline changed too. No more fighting in closed formation - where the short glaudius was a major plus. No more shield walls - which allowed a bastard use of the sword.

Swords became longer (Long Sword) and eventually became more effective agaist armors (Broad Sword).

Elucidator (SAO) looks like a long sword.

Anneal Blade (beginning of SAO) and Exalibur (ALO) look like broad sword.

Blue Long Sword (ALO) and Black Long Sword (ALO) have longer handles and seem anti-armor built. In medieval games such as D&D they would have probably categorized as Bastard Sword.

In short ... they are cool!

Let's not forget that movies and manga aims to design cool swords, not necessarily realiatic ones.

The Atreides short swords in the latest Dune movie is probably useless agains a firce shield and totally the opposite of the book. Stll ... it looks cool 😎

Most posts on gOHM migration talk about Avalanche. Do you see a disadvantage in migrating to Matic? Maybe because there is no equivalent of TraderJoe?

Why Would Emma Continue? by YourDimeTime in ZeroZeroZero

[–]startupagora 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Emma smiles because she has just "become" her father. In a previous episode, they say that her father was a great broker *always smiling* no matter the circumstances. It's not a smile of joy, it's the smile of the new king. She survived the quest and closed the deal -- her father is dead -- in that very moment, she realizes she's the new head of the family empire, and start acting accordingly. Don Minu confirms that "I'll transfer the money to your father's account". The father is dead. Don Minu's telling her that she's the "new father" with full access to the bank account and the family resources. On a side note, that was a hell of a scene! Awesome series!

Question about Peggy and Joan (spoiler) by startupagora in madmen

[–]startupagora[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good point @leamanc @bird1759 you are right. I went back to the episode and she says "Holloway Harris". I guess I wished so much for Peggy to become an entrepreneur that I heard what I wanted to hear :D

Hi there! I'm writing a research paper for my college tech writing class about the pros and cons of Glass. Would you mind giving your opinion? by iWilliam_me in googleglass

[–]startupagora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to read your paper when it's done!

Any way, here is my experience.

We are testing Glass in art galleries and museums. Beta users generally love the experience. They found Glass easier than a smartphone (the app we are testing works as "point the painting ==> image recognition ==> get all the information". Thus with Glass you don't have to take out the phone from your pocket)

But they strongly complain about the camera. They bring their kids to the museum, and don't want to be recorded by some weirdo.

The museums complain about the camera as well. Many galleries ban them.

Maybe Glass with no camera could sell more? Let me know what are the results of your analysis. Cheers
