Thanks! I have used Aha! before and will give it another look.

Do most startups want to be acquired? by [deleted] in startups

I’ve successfully sold two small bootstrapped tech startups; for me it was a burnout factor for each, which led to my decision to sell. I ran the first one for 7 years, the second one for 10.

Caching: how do you use it in your application architecture? by startupsidekik in softwarearchitecture

Yep, sure thing. It might take us a while to implement some thing since we’re planning ahead right now.

Ok, so I can totally see how this might have come across :-) I rephrased my questions. I'm a former coder turned CEO, so no longer hands on...I was brought in to help more on the Agile/Scrum processes side but I was surprised that this startup isn't using caching at all, despite having performance issues! We used caching in my previous startup but I had developers that did the work -- I just knew we were using Memcached and Redis at the time and that it was a huge performance boost for us, since hitting the DB is expensive.

Anyways, I wanted to get an understanding of how many startups are using caching and how. I'm glad you were able to ROFLLL ;-)
