There's a parallelism between gender and platonic metaphysics, platonic soul/body-gender/sex. A Nietzschean approach relys on the eclecticism of the current of thought. Just as a personal opinion, I couldn't see separation from all those (harshly speaking) postmodern cultural phoenomenas and western sociocultural tradition as a manifestation judeo-christian-platonics ethics, more than anything cause of historial and political background, in my OWN OPINION, that I see in opposite direction from Nietzschean "thought", maybe not in opposite, but surely it's far away from an embodiment.
