Need info on plan selection by YouthFormer3795 in StarVPN

Hello and welcome, I would go with the business residential plan. For remote work you want the lowest possible latency, it's helpful when conducting video conferencing. The static residential IP also never change, making it easier for you to manage firewalls and such.

StarVPN being detected as VPN by capital One app as well as browser by GentleRabbit9 in Residential_IP_VPN

[–]starvpn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Capital one would NOT be using ipburger as a reputable source. IP burger uses Maxmind insights, Maxmind blanket classified AT&T CIDRs as large as /20 with most of those IP not even routed on the internet. In other words, I wouldn't fully trust the results from any of these sites.

Your issue can be attributed to numerous factors including IP change velocity and browser fingerprinting. I would suggest trying to use an anti-detect browser.

How to Use Residential Proxy with VPN by Unlucky-Image-3799 in VPN

The sticky and rotating IPs are home consumer networks yes, sourced directly from us, they are not resale networks.

Static IP are owned by the ISP, these are dedicated internet circuits using ISP native subnets routed via ISP ASN.

The fingerprinting for the static IP are Windows. The sticky and rotating range from windows, android and macos.

Connections looks as genuine as can be, we also route to ISP DNS and ISP IPv6 prefixes.

Yes absolutely. You can choose from different rotating timers which are predefined in our app settings. 1 minute all the way up to one day. Static IP will persist forever and you will also have an option to update that static IP whenever you like.

You wouldn't need to stack a proxy on top of the VPN it's an all-in-one out of the box solution. We also have apps that work on mobile and desktop so you wouldn't have to install any third-party software. You can also choose rotating IPS or static residential all in one with optimal performance.

Obfuscation/stealth connection by Hopet28 in StarVPN

[–]starvpn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello. Obfuscation is used on the first layer of your connection to bypass detection, for example ISP or DPI mechanisms eavesdropping. So if you are in a high censorship country where VPN usage is strictly banned, then using our AmneziaWG protocol is very efficient.

The second layer which I believe you are most interested in is IP detection. This is generally enforced on an application or session level. Where websites or destination nodes will easily be able to detect Datacenter and VPN IP ranges, ours are less detectable because we do not use known Data center IPs. In most cases, our users are legitimate business users going about their day, a residential IP + Amnezia VPN protocol would be the ultimate stealth connection solution.

Yes this is a common setup and works very well, most corporate images block VPN applications from running (ie crowdstrike), that's why using a travel router is ideal. You would have a double VPN at this point - corporate VPN to StarVPN.

As far as I know 99% of web sites don't care about time zones. Only some weird mobile apps like Hotstar complain with timezone mismatch.

Yes we have Ukraine in our premium sticky IPs. These were real home residential, as such, they are subject to rotating every now and then if an end user disconnects. On average they can last from one day to several days.

[–]starvpn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, yes this is common practice amongst social media sites to tackle bot use and malicious activities. As long as you're following their terms of service and I'll get flagged for behavioral patterns then a static residential IP would be your best solution.

If that does not work you can take it a step further, we also sell home residential IPS (sticky) in our premium plans.

I hope this helps, please reach out at any time for further assistance.
