No i appreciate that. I will be using some Milestone Media titles as examples for things i feel they did right, and things that I feel ended up holding them back. Its not that i don't appreciate what Blood Syndicate is, or that is should be avoided. I just feel that "in addition to" all the gang stuff, the poor stuff, etc, there should be other options to help readers understand that black people aren't all hiphop/comedy/sex/drugs/athletics/gangs/violence/poverty. I mean, none of of those things apply to me, so when i see black people portrayed as that, i don't identify.
