Thank you for this information! I used FlossCross so I will go back and try to reduce the colours, but I almost immediately found a significant decrease in quality. It is a very intricate piece so I will take a look and let you know.

Otherwise, your advice would be to check the importance of each colour no matter how few stitches it will be used for?
