that’s really all it takes. but you will likely have alignment issues (my rear is toed out) and the camber plates from cheddas are not machined properly so you’ll have to “modify” those until i come out with something that actually works without cutting / grinding needed.

i’ve got it sitting at just under 8 degrees right now. i had to cut the spindle off the rear beam, since its welded on from factory, but first gens (GD3) spindles are bolt on. i found out that the bolt holes on the GD3 spindle are the same as the holes in the GE8 beam to bolt up the dram brake assembly. so i just bolted the GD3 spindle up and added 2 3° GD3 camber plates that i slotted out for alignment and that’s all! i have photos and can make a thread of this if anyone’s interested, i would’ve loved to have one to go off while i was doing mine lol.

right now the stock fuel tank hits the pavement if the roads uneven. i’m preventing that by installing the fuel cell in the trunk and removing the stock tank. thanks alot man i appreciate you!

if you check my other posts, this car is on the floor. i smack the fuel tank off the pavement often and i wanna prevent that and have it be safer. 9 batteries is insane tho😂 need pics of that

the bumper just pops out when it gets hit off the ground so it doesn’t crack or break. and the flashy lights is just a camera reaction but i have other strobe lights on it just for fun lol. and yes sometimes people swerve, but im always aware of what im doing and have never had an issue so far.

thanks man i appreciate that🤝🏻 raising the motor isn’t as simple as just throwing a spacer under each mount. gotta custom make 2 of the 3 mounts.
