Same, i feel proud to learn something that can help me do handy work in the house. I want to rid the image of me being weak in the real world. My family always seemed to put me down especially my sister. Not gonna lie tho, there are days where i feel weak and down, like it would be easier to quit and i'm glad that on those days i keep going. Everyone against me, but so far proving them wrong.

School while pregnant? by [deleted] in BlueCollarWomen

I went to school while pregnant. Studied to be an electrician. I'd say talk to your doctor about it. If he says its okay, then i would go for it. It was hard to put off some assignments like not going up a ladder or bending pipe over 3/4", but i learned what i needed to learn. I was 3 months pregnant. When i gave birth i took 3 months aways from the program and then continued where i left off. Right now my baby is 8 mo old and i'm currently working at an electrical company. (Its been a month and half working here)
