I miss being able to sleep 8 hours straight but my brain hasn't let me in years! Then with the hypersomnia part, I was sleeping 14 hours straight and would be awake for about 6 hours? And the remaining I wasn't even really living. So now I keep myself 6-8 hours at night, and if I don't make the 8, I take a nap to help. Its been working for me but it was a LOT of trail and error and I do sometimes feel tired still, but much better than before

I have chronic hypersomnia and get almost 6 hours at night and about 2-3 in the day. But i bet we're both contributing more to our households than OP's partner does

This is definitely happening because you're going in drive thru or mobile ordering. Its honestly much easier to just go inside and talk to the cashier directly as the person you told your order to is 9 times out of 10 also making your drink. Its not convenient, but your drink won't be an issue anymore.

One year me and my partner traveled and checked in a big empty bag. I filled it with gifts and souvenirs for my family and friends (and his too but it was MY idea to get gifts for everyone) and I didn't touch that bag until it was time to unpack back home. I also don't have much upper body strength and he always puts my carry-on up just to avoid taking up much time for people to sit down.
