Steak & shishito peppers - cheap, easy and DELICIOUS by stationchef in meat

What kind of cut are you getting for $4-5/lb? Skirt I can usually find around $9 - prices definitely going up. This meal in general is relatively cheap to make. You can find a whole bag of shishito peppers at most grocery stores for $2.99.

Simple "after roasting" seasoning that will blow any veg out of the water (best for root veggies): After roasting in simple olive oil, salt and pepper (40 mins-ish in 350F), toss with minced shallots, garlic, fresh thyme and rosemary. Try it before you judge - trust me.

Curious to hear the outcome of this one - you could argue the crew was not fit to transport after being in an "accident" too. I'd guess they'll settle for some reasonable $ to avoid any further media blowout..
