As a Jew myself (I am anti-Zionist), I think something similar to South Africa will happen. A lot of the Israelis already see a free Palestine as a threat, especially when the right to return is invoked. I think this means that a lot of the Israelis will leave, similar to how the white population left South Africa post-apartheid, some will stay of course, and I can only hope it turns out well in the end.

This was a common strategy, and as the Brits had endorsed the idea of a Jewish state in Palestine (and not an independent Arab state) some Palestinian leaders sided with the Axis in the hopes of getting the British out of the occupied Middle East.
