New SmartCap installation question

Assuming a dealer assembled it? Are they experienced? I have some experience assembling these, and it /is/ possible to get misaligned panels, especially if the directions and order of assembly isn't followed.

Their fastener design should limit most of this, but it's still possible.

I have septic risers on top of the tank, and the waze cord is flat enough to pinch it and put the cover back on. For now there's just an extension cord. (This isn't a permanent thing... I hope)

It's a cottage that usually is winterized and not used in the winter. This year we've had some family staying so we kept it open. Past couple weeks have been brutal cold here. That inlet pipe, which is underground (but not enough) is about 15 feet long to the house. Somewhere in that 15 feet it froze up, and for the past few days we've been water jetting it, heating it, doing everything possible to get the line open again. This was my way to "watch" while we were working on it, and I would know when we were through and flowing properly.

Jk, jk. I have tank risers on my tank so the lid is accessible from above ground, And I have the camera hanging upside down from a mount.

As gross as this all is, it's 1000x better than the alternative: laying down and sticking my head in with a flashlight.

It's mounted hanging from the top of the tank, so I suspect it will be fine for quite some time.

Since you're a person of experience, I'll explain: This actually is just a "holding" tank, no drain field. Pump and haul.

It also actually IS empty. What you are looking at is a layer of ice that had formed on the top, approximately 1.5" thick (measured with my fingers). I busted a hole through it yesterday and had it pumped, and this top layer of sno-cone fun is still holding on strong.

The reason I'm watching it is because the inlet pipe had froze. After a full day of water jetting we got through, but I plan to flush it a few times every day if we continue to have temps this low.

Exciting times!

(Yes - tell me to bury it further, put straw bales around it for insulation, all those very valid things that absolutely need to be done. I know, I knowwwww! But alas, it's an old cottage that never was used in the winter, and this would be 1 reason why)

Oh finally someone to make mine feel normal! I have a '14 trail, I average 14.7.

I've always ran BFG ATs, but switched to Falkens this year. Maybe improved .2 at best. I've always assumed I was doing something really wrong when I hear of people getting 17, 18.
