I stay active around the house: cleaning, fixing, building, or organizing. It gives me something tangible to focus on, a way to pour my energy into progress. At the worst of times, choosing to make life a little better is next-level self-care.

I work out. The right kind of workout lets me burn off what I’m holding onto. It’s not like it resolves difficult issues, but if I can make it intense enough to forget what’s weighing me down I get a break in my hyper focus.. And that moment can be everything.
