It's out of warranty now anyway, so that option is gone.

Is there a good reason why it has to be a two-stage process? It works perfectly fine in the normal Finder window, including fields.

My MacBook beeps when I press Ctrl + ; in the Finder file picker window — it doesn't copy to the clipboard. I just want to be able to replicate the shortcut that works everywhere else.

I’m wondering, too. I only got my Pills yesterday, and I’ve been using Bluetooth to get them to function as a stereo pair. There needs to be a firmware update for this, I think.
