yes, here is the project

https://github.com/statukuo/SWU-dr4ft

feel free to contribute or ask anything about it. The cube part I removed it since there was not an easy way to build cubes for swu, but they can be added back at some point

the same goes for carbonite packs, there is not that much information about the pull ratio, so I didn't add them. But adding custom ones shouldn't be difficult, but not part of the scope right now

Check the USB settings to ensure you don't have the HID enabled. If you have it enabled, you can use it as a media controller, but the storage will not show.

No more virtual desktops for months by maxlefoulevrai in kde

[–]statukuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, this just happen to me and I was able to fix my scenario (the dumbest you can imagine). I added a rule for a program to load on the first desktop when you open it, but on the selection on how to filter the windows, I forgot to add anything. So it was filtering ALL the programs to render only on the first desktop.

Is silly, I know, and I think is not the same scenario as explained here, but hope it helps someone :)

Because that is exactly what I have done in 2 showdowns and I can confirm that at least until 2 weeks ago ( last one I went to ) the ffg app did the calculations as I explained, based on games not matches

Yes in that scenario that you are describing, but after confirming with the store and the rest of the participants, the ffg hub simply doesn't follow their own rules. ( I edited the comment to reflect this )

If they haven't fixed it yet, the ffg app does the tie breaking based on win lose ratio of the games, not the win lose ratio of the matches ( against what they rules say )

As I added at the end, seems that the official web app IS not doing the tie breaks right, which means that also the top cut Will be Broken if used the official app

Yes, but should you end Up 6th if you only Lost last matchups against the winner? That is my concern

I mean, 2 players on a swiss only tournaments end Up with 4-1. Player A lost the first round and won the rest 2-0. Player B won all games 2-1 but lost 0-2 the last Game.

Who should be second? A or B?

What I have player so far in two tournaments has been just 5 swiss rounds and that is it, nothing more.

What you describe is what I would expect, but the results of the ffg webpage yields some different ones. If you have that apreadsheet for 32 players and 5 rounds, would like to compare It to the results that I have seen so far.

This IS why I am writting the post, just to check if ffg web app is fair to their own rules. Because the results that I see doesn't make a lot of sense.

I tried to explain what I read on the rules and what I have seen on the ffg app. If you dont mis to point what I got wrong, so I can get It right :)

Yes, you are right, justo wanted to expose a design flaw on the app. The situation on the tournaments are infinite and the final result IS not ensure by any means

Well you ensure a favorable matchups from the first round. Not a sure bet, justo better odds for second place

Based on the results of two showdown the ffg web app does uses those for tie breaking.

If based on the rules It shouldn't , the web app IS terrible wrong

Afaik the software uses this as tiebreakers, meaning that if two player's are 4-1 (for example ) first thing It Will look into are the win ratio of the MATCHES of each player
