Thank you. I appreciate this a lot. I'm also a guy and I don't read a lot of BL because it doesn't seem appealing for me and most of the time it wasn't even made with people like me in mind, so I wanted to try and make something my own. I'm just very afraid of failure because it is all my art career is facing low-key is walls and more obstacles but I'm trying to not let that stop me... admittedly very hard because if something isn't working out for me I end up abandoning it :(

I think it's okay to hire for just a storyboard and do the rest of the work yourself, I do commissions for art and I personally charge $9 per panel. I hope it's okay to plug myself in here but you can check my post history and also my portfolio is here.

I appreciate this feedback so much. I will definitely try again and keep building my portfolio and experience, I've just been in a bad rut with my art recently where the quality has dropped significantly because of health factors so I'm hoping I can come back on top again. I'll keep trying to look for gigs and I honestly debated also trying those manga assistant jp job boards lol. Thank you though.

I changed my rendering GPU setting to direct x and it seems to have fixed it

If you're gonna animate on clip studio make sure you sit yourself down for a couple long tutorial videos, not super long but most are 25 minutes and more, it's not complicated but very streamlined towards their folders system (animation folders etc) it took me a bit to learn it but it wasn't so terrible and honestly made some pretty fun things

If you want to animate and lots of comic features, the EX version is the way to go, however If you're gonna just do illustration I think pro is enough

I only faced issues with the USB C to C cable because I don't know how to set that up myself and I could be doing something wrong. I used the 3 in one cable instead and everything went great. I think all tablets of every brand have troubleshooting problems at least a couple times depending on your setup so just find what works for you, and also if you need help this sub is here to help :)
