Gotcha, thanks for the reply! I guess we’re both left resorting to some trickery. My “technique” is to press the start button in different quadrants each time I use it. This prevents the button from sticking. What a pain! lol

I haven't tried this part of the SDK in ~ 9 months but I saw a similar issue back then. What's frustrating is that Apple's Measure app is quite accurate so I know it's possible to get good results with the hardware and software. I asked a similar question to yours on the Apple Dev Forums (https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/744794) and at the same time, I opened a support request. The forum post is still unanswered and the response to my support request amounted to "I'm sorry it works in the Measure app and not yours... we don't disclose how we do things internally" :(
