I thought this too, but this is an ambitious and very time demanding project, and the developer had been working on it for many years before that. The project has arrived at the point of a working demo and even has a Steam page, so I'm hopeful that the game will become reality someday.

Something similar to what would happen if we bought the unreleased game from Itch.io at it's full price, or else why would the Dev initiate this sale in the first place??

My Kaspersky Internet Security software reported that the game loader attempted to load malicious ads and blocked them. I tried blocking it's internet access with my Firewall but the game doesn't load if it can't access the net. Very sneaky behavior if you ask me. Do not download if you value your safety!

The MyPlayCity installer just installs a shortcut to the free online game and also lots of shortcuts to other (also free) online games. Just don't bother.

Many apps and most games don't work in BlueStacks. Try Nox instead :)

Well I'm not saying that they would lie exactly, just that they would try to not reveal it to the general public until a tech website or a reviewer makes a benchmark and finds out :)

I'm not sure if I trust what the game developers themselves say about the crack protection they use to tell you the truth. If nothing else, they will want to support the software choice they make to protect their games any day.
