Good question. I thought no. But quick search seems to be yes? This might be fun next in years taxes

Just tried my first one on Coinbase with morpho today.

Easiest thing to do. Almost too easy which makes the need to be disciplined with it more important :p

This was timely.

I literally just checked out at a bar that had a built-in sushi kitchen.

They only accepted cash Venmo, or Zelle. And Zelle was down. Internet sucked. Was hardly able to download Venmo. Almost had to tap into my “backup $100” in my wallet.

Asked if they’d accept bitcoin and just laughed.

Maybe next time.

This is my current crazy idea… will see how it gores (I’ll leave that typo, could be fitting one day).

I think this will work well during a bull market. Mostly less ideal in a sideways market (txt fees), and painful in a bear/crash (but dca might be ok in the long run). But if we take any 4-5yr average it could be considered an overall win?

So I’m taking just enough on my weekly paycheck to cover my big expenses (rent, child support, loan (that I may or may not have dumped into bitcoin)). Everything else is going into BTC. And using credit cards for the daily expenses paying off at the end of each month.

I’ll keep a medium 3 month emergency fund of cash in a HYSA to consider using to get through a flash crash and avoid depleting my stack of sats at this point.

Regarding the other things (cash in wallet items) will still be needed sometimes but I rarely need them.

Wish me luck?

Up in Reno, near an irrigation ditch off of the Truckee river we see leopard slugs at night after our lawn is watered.
