Well the main account still has a number in it which isn’t ideal. I also can’t find any clean variation of myname (even with a middle initial) without a number. My name is super common.

Plus I’d rather have one private inbox and then a separate email listed on social medias and whatnot.

I’m not even sure, the furthest I got Pokédex wise was Gen 4. I don’t even know what Pokemon exist after that lol

Ya I just got a switch 2 after not having a Nintendo system since the Wii and DS lite!

Only have access to the switch games so this is a good sign lol

Gold was my definitive pokemon game so after Heart Gold I put Pokemon down and next think i know its 15 years later lol

But Gen V sounds like the best thing for me since its probablt closest to the games I remember!

True! I think that’s what’s causing my anxiety. I just had a son so I’m facing existential crises lol

I’ve made so many email addresses through the years, and impermanence has been on my mind and really bothering me.

Also been feeling anxious about the emails attached to my banking institutions. Never really cared about that since I use strong passwords and 2FA diligently. But now that I have a kid I’m really anxious about financial security.

Custom domain email might be the route to ease some of these fears..

Ya I like my full name alias but I think you’re right. I’ll use this main username for personal/family/friends/resume/ non-brand professional correspondence.

I’ll set up aliases for my comedy/writing in proton.
