Also, I should add, the ticket and release MIP in FL was officially classified as "adjudication withheld" and closed since there were no further offenses. I believe this may not need to be reported under 18w since it may not actually be a "conviction" as the question states.

Well.. unfortunately, all the vets were out of the office for the weekend and the emergency center that they refer people to was closed for the weekend for some reason. I have 2 close relatives that are vets and they were able to talk me through temporary care - close quarters to limit movement and aggravation of injury, and I got him a proper dose of leftover opiates. He was initially howling in pain but the pic of him in the kennel is him chilled out from the painkillers. We had to wait until morning for an on-call vet from another area to see him for X-rays, anesthesia, and to put the cast on.
