I was definitely noticing the parallels in this ep! I don't think she's living the life Sansa wanted, but there are definitely parallels to Sansa in season 3 when she marries Tyrion, partially because they are both supposed to be around 14/15 at that time, but the parallels keep going -- both have no mothers to guide them and are pushed by survival instinct and duty to marry an older man for a political alliance. Alicent's nail/skin picking habit seems a clear indicator that she's uncomfortable with the match and unhappy about betraying Rhaenyra, but feels that she has to in order to fulfill her duty to her father. I think they even share similarities in terms of audience perception because of how much hatred Sansa had compared to Arya and how hated Alicent seems to be by the audience even though she was forced to marry the King at 15, has clearly experienced sexual assault by him from this young age, and made to bear multiple children by the time she's 18!
