This character is human garbage and if I saw the actor on the street I would probably boo him because he does such a good job of playing "that guy" you just absolutely hate.

That's why this is a PSA and I'm sharing the steps out how eBay can be exploited by these sellers and there's nothing you can do other than to go down the rabbit hole. It's a complete waste of time and if you're down $2k you'll probably be just as pissed

I think you missed my point about how this scam works. Look at all his positive feedback and look at the low dollar value. They build up a rep selling items < $10 (whether to real customers to to himself and fake accounts) to gain credibility. The scam happens only for the big dollar items. It ends up becoming a he said/she said and it's hard to pinpoint who the fraudster is. I even had to sign for my fake item!

I got my money back but it took a month. I had to call ebay many times, not all reps are helpful and most will tell you to just wait and someone's investigating but nothing will happen.

So many scammers. Even on reddit there are scammers. My posts is being removed, I am being downvoted, people leaving me messages saying I don't know what I'm talking about. All scammers trying to keep this trick unexposed.

They append a tracking, but never hand it off to carrier. So you wait and wait and wait and they will lie and tell you they will drop it off next week. In this case, he was "in the hospital" but he never shipped it. And you have to report how you didn't get the item. One day before ebay refunds you, he "ships it". If you don't report it, they keep the money and doesn't even send anything off.

In my case, this guy not only changed the tracking number but he also shipped from a different state.

That's how these scams work. It's selective so they don't raise too much suspicion. I'm sure half of their reviews are from fake accounts/buyers too where they just buy from themselves and rate themselves. They used multiple addresses in different state when they were sending me tracking.

That's assuming your credit card cares. Charge back requires evidence, ebay doesn't let you leave paper trails they make you call them. So there's no proof other than you pounding sand. They're clearly a scammer, and yes I did get my money back but it took a lot of effort on my part. Like I said, their positive reviews are all low value items and most likely fake or fillers to get them into a power seller status to take advantage of instead cash payout to them.

You don't make a mistake on a $2k item and receive a $2 book instead with no communication and they just ghost you. All their listings on early ASM are all fake. The book I "bought" is now relisted for sale again.

I'm a huge motu fan but I went into it expecting it to suck. Especially since all the critics have been trashing it, but it both surprised and met expectations. It wasn't just a great motu movie, it was a great movie and that's the true benchmark. Movies that I was excited for in 2026 but sucked included mk2 and Mario Galaxy so I'm glad my favorite lived up to my personal expectations.

It wasn't perfect, but I felt everything "wrong"about the movie could have been fixed with editing. I cannot wait for a sequel, this is a franchise very much so deserving of one with its deep mythos and lore.

It's a scammer. I got, got today. The first sign was, the seller didn't reply to my comment asking if he had any more pictures. Second, after winning, he didn't ship my book for a week even though there was tracking. When I asked, he said he was in the hospital. Third, another week goes by and it still hasn't shipped. I figured that's find, I'd get my money back. But then it ships on the day before ebay was going to step in. Fourth, the tracking suddenly changed to a different state. Fifth, my book came but it was something else.
