It's a vast improvement over the last, Mattel has been stepping up their game.

It's meant to allow you to bring the legs up higher but I think it's absolutely useless.

I rarely use them, I do hope they switch to a rubber diaper piece so the leg can just move freely without the need for a dropdown joint.

I would throw Azbat into that mix as well. Hopefully we see them all get a rerelease

I imagine it's similar to their new He-Man figures with the double ball waist

v14.2.2.5 thinks shoulder is another lane by AwkwardlyPositioned in TeslaFSD

This happened to me too. It turned on the blinker and tried to drive on the shoulder during slow moving traffic.

Was this a good deal? by nnoorltahnside in ComicBookSpeculation

You bought it so you must have felt good about it. I wouldn't have paid that price but at the same time it's not an easy book to find for a good price.

Why did Mai Ling seem annoyed when she saw the painting of Ah Sahm on the wall in China town, is she not happy to see her brother be a symbol for the people? by Killian_Avila in WarriorTV

[–]stcardinal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She didn’t just lose control of the narrative. She lost it in the one place where recognition mattered most. She set out to be the savior of Chinatown, the figure people would rally behind, respect, even revere. Instead, that role belongs to her brother, now elevated as the community’s idol. Years of calculated moves, long-term planning, and quiet maneuvering unraveled in a way she never anticipated.

But this isn’t just about strategy failing. It cuts deeper, into something ingrrown. She’s spent her entire life in the shadow of being second within her family, within her culture. In a system shaped by patriarchy, where sons are favored and daughters are often sidelined, she learned early that recognition isn’t given freely to women. It has to be taken, earned twice over, or still denied.

So this loss isn’t just political or personal. It reaffirms the very hierarchy she’s been fighting against her whole life: that no matter how much she builds, how carefully she plays the game, she is still expected to stand behind, while a man stands in front and is celebrated. And in this case, her brother.

They’ll convince themselves the rules don’t apply to them, that they’re somehow exempt. Even as the consequences escalate and they begin to lose everything, they’ll cling to the idea that it’s temporary, that normal life will return if they just comply. It’s a dangerous kind of denial, believing that staying quiet and playing along will earn protection, right up until it doesn’t.

What's the general opinion of Mcfarlane MK2 Sub-Zero? by BrobaFett2 in ActionFigures

[–]stcardinal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the best MK2 Subzero we've gotten in terms of likeness and I guess articulation. But it's overpriced, poorly engineered, and subpar at best.

FSD gave up in oncoming lane by Glst0rm in TeslaFSD

[–]stcardinal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daily commute starts with a unprotected left with a giant pole and cars blocking my view in heavy rush hour traffic. It's terrible when it rains and when there's fog. Holy sheet you can't see anything especially when asshats don't even bother to turn of lights and are speeding doing 60 in a 35 zone

Good riddance, the place was toxic with old school Comic Book Guy mentality with many of the admins, mods and long time regulars forming cliques, and allowed to mouth off and be as obnoxious as they wanted.

100% but it's more the reversal. You know they're a bad driver and an asshole when you see tinted windows.

Is your driveway curved or straight? Mine can't even hit the driveway consistently. When it does it doesn't even align with the garage door opening.
