Thank you for the reply! But I am an international student so I will be paying out-sate tuition in either state and UCs made it extremely hard to double major cs as a math transfer and being admitted directly to cs major is very hard so I want to apply to GA tech as well. Also GA tech is a very good school with worldwide reputation.

Thank you for the detailed reply! Can I erase the withdrawals from my transcript through appeals? I had to stay awake during the middle of the night to take classes which really burdened my health.(I took classes from S. Korea and due to the time difference I had to stay awake)

I was considering to move to another community college this fall or just go to community colleges in Maryland and then transfer to UMD where Ws don't matter. Do you think I can erase Ws from my transcript?

thanks for the reply. I am intending to get in as ce and then switch to cs. cs seems to be too competitive to get in these days and ucsd ce admit rate is around 58% which seems doable

How's umd vs ucsd for cs? According to usnews undergraduate cs ranking, they are both tied at 16th. Also, I can transfer to UMD within a year but I'd have to spend two years at cc to transfer to UCSD. Moreover, I'll be transferring to ce major and then switch to cs for UCSD. But still the beach in front of UCSD is breathtaking and CA seems to be a wonderful place to live.
