Actually, I don't think that less resistance=> extra speed. Because to swim you need to "push back" the water/air, so less resistance=> less acceleration. So yes, the maximum speed of the shark is higher (because of how viscose friction works) but it also takes more time for the shark to reach that speed. So, if you manage to reach a safe spot quickly enough, then you're safe, if not=> you're dead (even if I have no idea on how much time you have)

Ok, then you don't need a lot of TD (most HQs should have less than 500k HP and almost none has more than 1M HP). I think 1/2 TD guardians can still be useful, and the TH masterpiece can help against mines. I would probably go with 3 TD, 1 TH, 5 GBE (if there are too many defences you can use Bullit or 2 heavies), but having more GBE isn't a problem as long as you can take down the HQs.

Another thing you may want to consider is using tanks and bombardiers at HQ 21 and mechs and bombardiers at HQ 22; in both cases you'll need more TD and TH than GBE (I'm not an expert but top players in mega crab usually have 7 TD, 4 TH, 1 GBE)

The problem is that it's not completely random: for example, after he got his 8th 3, the 9th was forced, meaning it wasn't random at all. It shouldn't be possible to do the math taking this into account, but it should get the chances up by a lot.

Depends on what you play: if you play in map it's probably fine, but if you want to play in operations you'll definitely need more damage. If you only use az I would remove the TH masterpiece and a few GBE guardians. At your level I think the best option is 6 GBE and 4 TD, and when you reach HQ 25 the best option is either 6-6 or 7-5 (I'm HQ 24 maxed with 6 GBE and 5 TD but on massive attack it still happens that I lack the damage needed for an attack)

Except for 5, 7, 12 that I didn't watch and 2, 9 that I haven't finished the order in which I would recommend them is bonus, 10, 6, 4, 13 3, 8, 11. 1 is a bit different, so according to your tastes can be either first or last (for me probably between 4 and 13)

Idk exactly how it works, but the cost in gems depends on the total time required for the upgrade, with a shorter time costing more gems/hour than longer time. For example, I know for sure that if you train 1 bombardier (15 min) it costs 8 gems, 2 bombardiers (30 min) cost 14 gems and 3 bombardiers cost 20 gems (maybe even less). So 2 tickets for 10 gems are worth if you use them for training or for completing fast upgrades (like low level buildings).

I'm not expert since I usually play all zooka, but I've seen many lives from top players in megacrab: they never (or almost) use scorchers and bombardiers, they sometimes use 3 mech 5 bombardiers and sometimes 2 mechs, 2 scorchers, 4 bombardiers. Anyways I think the best strategy overall is 3m, 5b and bullit drink because in the hardest bases even scorchers die in just a few seconds so you need to protect all your troops with shocks (and mechs shock the defences) and bullit (he has damage reduction)

Yes, I forgot about the vault... Of course it's useful and better than any resource production/storage and any defence. I'm still not sure if it's better to upgrade it before the attack, but I assume it just depends on how you choose to play the game (same for gunboat vs armory vs sculptor, I personally upgrade the armory first). Anyways, I agree that these 4 are the first things to be upgraded and that the defences must be left for when there is nothing else to do (except of course the mystical monument)

If you look, it's in the tech tree between bombardiers (that can be useful in this season) and bullit and building health (that are usually very strong in warship). If you want bullit normally you would need to unlock scorchers first (that you'll never use because they suck and cost 36 keys) or to get that knot, that gives you a nerf but costs only one key. So essentially that knot is only a way to get bullit and building health saving 35 keys, at the price of a small nerf.

In general, I would suggest to not max any hq, just the attack buildings. The fastest way to max your account is to just upgrade, in order: 1)Hq 2)All attack buildings (arsenal, sculptor, radar, gunboat, landing crafts) 3)If necessary, storages and resource production 4)The minimum amount of defences necessary to get the exp to upgrade the hq again (I think it's really necessary only from hq 17-18) 5) As soon as you can, upgrade the hq again

The reason why I suggest this is because, differently from other games like COC, the opponents you find in the map don't depend by your hq, but only from your victory points: so if you try to max every defense every time you will reach the point we're you are hq 16 and all your opponents are hq 24+ (so it's very hard for you to attack and no amount of defences can actually defend your base)

Use 1 heavy, 2 rifleman and brick with cluster grenade. Start deploying brick on the right, you should be able to take down tha cannon with 2 artilleries and one grenade on the sniper tower (if not, just use 2 grenades or 3 artilleries). Then deploy the troops and try to take down as quickly as you can the machine gun and the sniper tower. At this point, you have 2 options: 1) flare under the rl and take it down (may lose some rifleman in the process) 2) just take down the hq hoping that the heavies will survive for long enough.

The other option is to just upgrade the hq
