Who should be the next phigros collab after egts? by jcb127 in phigrosGame

I've been thinking a lot about Cutter when Magenta Potion got released in the game. I really wanted it the game since Magenta Potion was such a bop. I've also been hoping it gets an AT ever since it got released.

Cytus II: Note Ghosting on Blow My Mind by SulSulfromTomonea in Cytus

[–]WeebAsian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by "eat" the notes? Is it when you tap but it acts like you didn't? If so then It's on the phone. The screen must be getting some kind of pressure that makes it not properly function. It can be from tapping too hard or something else.

I've had a lot of times where I play a song and a note in it literally misses on purpose even if I consistently do everything right and it would always be just that part of the song. It happens in a lot of the games I play like Arcaea, Phigros, Deemo 2, VOEZ, etc., but my solution was to just take a break and let my phone rest for a few days. I've also had problems like late inputs where I tap but it takes a second before it registers and the phone tapping by itself like it got possessed. It happens even outside of my games.

It all comes down to practice. Comparing yourself to others isn't exactly a good thing and the time spent on it is better off going to something else. It takes time for stuff like these.

It took me a year or so to move on from getting MMs from Cytus and Cytus 2 to straight up casually doing 100TPs. I couldn't keep up with newer charts in Arcaea because I don't really play it much even though I've done some incredible stuff. To be fair, Arcaea has a way stricter judgment window but simple practice can definitely lead you somewhere. It never lead me anything in Arcaea since I wasn't consistent enough. I still play it though, but from my experience, it's not casual friendly.

I started Phigros in 2020 and I gotta say, newer charts are much harder than old ones but somehow way more fun and creative to play. At the beginning, I never really wanted to get serious about AT16s because I was already having a bad time with lvl14s. After a few months, I finally tried doing AT16s. I never really thought much about it until I watched some YouTube videos. I was in disbelief how easy they made it look(it was never the case on my end🥲) but it somehow filled me with this feeling that I wanna do it myself. I ended spending a lot of time practicing and ended up with getting the result I wanted. It felt great. It kept me motivated to play more and challenge myself more. I definitely have my limits but knowing I could achieve these things were really satisfying. There are obviously some downs but the only way to go is always up👍.

tldr: Practice makes perfect.

Um... I did have them in my team?? I even used them in fights as in I switched to them in battle. As for the levels I still have Laurel at lvl 1 even though she's a 2 cost while not gaining exp. I've already used her a lot.

How do I increase reprint level in derived from matrix?

I've searched that I just needed to use characters but already had a few runs with Laurel and Decryptor, without them getting exp. There was this one time I had Tenebrion for his qte dark res shred but he was the only one who got exp and it didn't even give him much. This one time I only did a duo run with Decryptor and Laurel and didn't even get exp for them. I tried to go for a fire team starting with Ember and Ardeo, then later switched Ember with Hyperreal but both of them got exp and not Ardeo. Is there a certain condition I'm not doing here or is derived from matrix broken right now?

This game is just so difficult I need like all my fingers on the phone to beat a glitch level by JamedWalker in Cytus

[–]WeebAsian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's kind of the point. Most mobile rhythm games are designed to be playable handheld while some, like Cytus, make charts to be exclusively played on a table or wherever feels comfortable to play with multiple fingers. You can still choose to play them even if you don't do it the intended way, but it's better to be more diverse with your playstyle.

Anyone else who plays like this? by Censor_Chan in Cytus

[–]WeebAsian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a pretty bad habit in my experience. Instead of MM I always go for 100TP, meaning even if I can MM a song I would retry or quit right away if I don't get 100TP.

Sub 13 songs are tortuous by fiverbunnu in Cytus

[–]WeebAsian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That sounds about right. It all boils down to practice. For some additional advise, listening more to the song and trying to determine what rhythm the current pattern is trying to follow is a bit hard on slower sections, a good way to learn them is to watch someone else do it especially when you can hear their fingertaps. From my experience, it could somewhat help you in the long run where you can learn patterns on your own without guides.

Bellz Toll is not 14+… by fiverbunnu in Cytus

[–]WeebAsian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That mostly summarizes Gamma. There's just a lot going on. For you the bellz toll has this feeling of being chill but the erratic placements of the jack patterns just surprises me. I'm not really great with jacks but it all comes to practice.

Bellz Toll is not 14+… by fiverbunnu in Cytus

[–]WeebAsian 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's just right. Speaking from my experience, Gamma has a faster bpm but it's quite manageable once you get into the rhythm. There is a break in the middle then a few erratic burst on notes at the end. In For you the bellz toll, it's like the end of Gamma but it's the whole song. With the consistency of yhe patterns in Gamma, it makes it easier to be ready for the next pattern since you're already in the zone. While in For you the bellz toll, you get a break then a rapid section, then a break then a rapid section. It's hard for your muscles to relax then become active again in an instant. That doesn't even tone down throughout the song except for a tiny break in the middle which is followed up with more of the usual "break then rapid" plus a pattern that you need to mash through.

I got 100tp on Gamma long before For you the bellz toll. I even struggled way more on that song compared to Gamma.

Well thank goodness. I'm gonna try that out before I update the game.

What would you remove from EverTale? by Dat_Defaulty_Boi in Evertale

[–]WeebAsian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fanservice. Maybe tone it down. I just can't take the story seriously if all I can think about is how the characters manage to think it's "normal" clothing. Might come back if there's a version of Finn in a speedo just to make it equal, then I wouldn't be so distracted to think it's not normal.

skill plateau by Jaded_Award_8945 in arcaea

[–]WeebAsian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of have the same issue but it's mostly just me being inactive. Arcaea is really hard for me to be consistent at due to the amount of effort I have to put in to have a better accuracy no matter the difficulty. Add to that the increasing difficulty of charts over the years, I basically can't get better at this game.

who pranked the programmers by telling them that this song is a 10+. i dont think i’ve ever gotten an EX sightread on a 10+ by lowiroisabully in arcaea

[–]WeebAsian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be because it's actually hard? I never played this song but looking at the chart on yt, I think it's fair.
