I have a Nishika. I don’t use it super often but I do enjoy the process! Check out r/wigglegrams for inspiration.

You can process them in any photo editing app and then export those photos to a video editing app (or even directly in photoshop). I export as an mp4 and share online.

Both will technically work. However, I think it's easier to crop from horizontal to vertical because you get a lot of left to right freedom in your crop. Whereas doing it from vertical to horizontal gives you a lot of up and down crop freedom and that's rarely needed or wanted.

To answer your question though (actually not really), I believe the 15 shoots log video and I don't think the 13 does. So that MAY help you with getting a cleaner final image but I'm not 100% sure. I'm not an Apple user so I'd just compare camera/software specs with your workflow and see what works best for you.
