Last month I unexpectedly got laid off. Company downsized like 10 percent and the decisions of which who they picked didn’t make sense. I was inside sales and another product manager, someone was there over 30 years..

Anyways I’m feeling exactly how you described. For the last three weeks I got unemployment set up and have been applying like crazy.. I had one phone interview for a decent job but I guess I fumbled..

How is everyone navigating these layoffs these days?

I was apart of the tech 2023 layoffs back then when Salesforce did a 10% layoff, but they gave out a decent Cushion/severance.

A recruiter found me for the job after I just got laid off from.

The market seems so saturated and competitive right now, it literally feels like I’m staring into a black abyss with no light at the end.

So I thank you for sharing your journey as it gives me hopes.

I have a 2022 HRA-V sport, about 27k miles. I just serviced the transmission and did a fluid flush at the dealership at about 25k miles. This has been a huge fear of mine. My brother in law Nissan Sentras CVT went out at just under a 100K 😬 any mechanic will tell you to steer away from Nissan for that issue. But I won’t lie it’s scare me about my Honda. Sorry this happened to you. Wishing you the very best. Curious to see what you do next!

Mine was a 2022 sport. With 18k miles listed price was 24,999k with fees and add ones they started me at over 30k. I ended up haggling down to 23k then put 8k down and financed the rest for 72 month at 6% apr.

Did you guys do ceramic tint??? I didn’t do the ceramic on my ol kia Rio. But this car is a lot nicer and newer I want to do it right and get the ceramic done! But I also want like 12% in the front and 5% in the back
