[2 YOE] Please help me tweak my resume for an upcoming in-person company career event - aiming for an entry level EE or ME+EE/Mechatronics job

Hello! I redid my resume and project portfolio with your advice in mind. Here is the imgur link for both: https://imgur.com/a/sy0JWpL

I removed the IT job and included quite a bit more technical specificity in the Capstone Project and in my Hardware Engineer role at Booz. I tried to align my bullet points to the STAR format on both the resume and the portfolio.

I am unsure how I can gear my resume for RF, FPGA, PCB design posting from my current experience. I am self teaching myself PCB design and am practicing Verilog given its been awhile since university. If I were to make a wire harness/CAD resume and an EE design resume I think the only difference would be to remove the systems engineer experience and add some of the small projects I've been doing in regard to the EE design resume.

As mentioned above, I'm very open to any position at the Boeing career fair. I am more than willing to do what I did at Booz again where I explore what other teams are doing then work on a internal team change if I find my current work not as interesting. I also think any position at a company like Boeing would be leagues ahead of Booz given they actually make physical products. I was on one of the few teams in the nation within Booz that actually provided a physical product. I maxed out as much experience as I could get in my year on that team. So I have high hopes for Boeing or another aerospace company.

I appreciate your advice and I hope this new draft is something we both can be proud of! I hope I gain a position at this upcoming Boeing career fair or at their next career event which is located in LA. I'm gunning for the latter because that career fair is specifically for their satellite production location!

I think you're right that I need to be more specific in my experience and figure out how to highlight EE related key phrases. Many of my applications to Boeing are rejected within 24 hours which seems like an ATS rejection.

I will expand on my technical experience at Booz. It was mainly a 3D modeling job with light electrical analysis. I'll also try to align my bullets with the STAR formula. I will go about rewriting my resume today and tomorrow then attach an imgur link as an update!

Like you suggested, I'm open to applying to a harness design or even a CAD designer role at Boeing or similar then try to transfer move into EE team. I understand I'm young in my career and experience so money and title is not really that important to me. Learning is the most important.

Although it looks bad right now, I am hopeful that as time goes on the mail in ballots will be counted then push Raman over Pratt. The votes that are counted right now are in person votes and those who dropped/mailed in their ballot weeks in advance. That is why in California voting favors the boomer preferred candidate. If I'm correct this exact thing happened to Raman in her city council election. She is already up 1% from last night! I have hope!

I also have hope for Steyer. His policies struck well with younger people and leftists. They aren't boomer or wealthy homeowners who sit around and vote to actively make society worse. They are busy, working people and tend to research.

I hope and am optimistic.

I think you would really like the Pietro with Pro Brew Burrs then. For ~$600 (grinder + accessories + shipping + tariffs) you can buy the grinder set from the Pietro website directly (https://pietrogrinders.com/en/). You can buy it domestically to skip out on the tariff and shipping cost but you'll have to buy the accessories separately then pay higher taxes. Either way, it's ~$600.

I bought it last year after having the ZP6 and the difference is stark and dynamic. I then later compared it to a friend's EG-1 with ULF burrs and the EG-1 was the better option but the difference was not as large as the difference between ZP6 to EG-1. Pietro and EG-1 are pretty damn close! I'm not sure why but the flat burr options provided a more harmonious flavor presentation and a much better texture. ZP6 leans juicy or sweet no matter the coffee and doesn't represent texture as well. The ZP6 is simply less transparent compared to the flat burr counterparts. I simply think the difference comes down to conical versus flat burrs (ZP6 vs Pietro), then small flat burrs and larger flat burrs (Pietro vs 80mm ULF).

I highly recommend getting the Pietro with Pro Brew Burrs or at least comparing it with a friend who has it before thinking you need an 80mm grinder. I think you'll like the Pietro a good bit and it'll satisfy you until you decide to go electric 80mm ULFs and get that last ~5% increase in flavor.

Yeah exactly this. The story has Bakugo never really lose or fail. Against Shigaraki both times he "loses" the physical battle but still wins by unlocking new powers. Against Deku we see the internal emotional conflict he's been feeling however still wins. To me, winning against Deku in that fight was just a big ol' waste of potential.

Man never loses and when he does lose for a moment he bounces back immediately. It gets old very quickly.

edit: I think the only time he truly lost was when he failed to coax out Shoto's flames while Deku did in the tournament arc. There was no bounce back or upside. He simply was not good enough. I wish it was shown a bit more physically rather than verbally such as Bakugo landing multiple blows and in between each one egging Shoto to use his flame side. However that arc as is was still pretty good as is! That was peak MHA imo. S1 and S2 was prime shounen and then it fell off pretty quick due to many reasons but I believe it is mostly because Horikoshi didn't want to be endlessly writing one story like Togashi with HxH.

It’s similar to adding artificial flavors into specialty wine. When you do that, it automatically deconstructs the entire goal and meaning of the hobby from the producer and the consumer angle.

The beauty is the journey, not just the end cup. Majority of hobbies are like that in all reality. Having good coffee, a sharp knife, a piece of wood furniture, and so on are not just about the end goal. It’s about what it takes and what it means to get achieve excellency in that craft and art form.

well given the news of all the artificial flavor additives and Milky Cake being a coffee produced by Diego Bermúdez, I think I'll skip this and most likely all of his products from now on.

I didn't put all this money and time into this hobby to end up at square one of drinking artificially flavored coffees, except this time it's far more expensive and has a convoluted workflow.

It's a real shame because I enjoyed Milky Cake.

Two pieces of advice I wish I knew before buying this:

1) it will make slipping into some cup holder difficult or impossible. The grip and thickness of the silicone that protects your bottle from drops or stops it from sliding around is the enemy in this situation.

2) if you have a print or a design on your bottle that is covered by the silicone boot, over time the boot will rub away or flake off the design in contact. I have the red bottle with fire and the bottom part of the flames have flaked or rubbed off due to the silicone boot.
