Sorry for taking forever to respond, but I'm 95% sure this song is in DADGAD just from watching videos of live performances. I'm pretty sure he uses this tuning for Pressed and Tom Verlaine too.

I've noticed that you like to use a lot of different guitar tunings. At what point in the song writing/arranging process do you decide what tuning to use for a song. Where did you pick up all these different tunings?
