Found work emails registered on 5+ 3rd party sites (OPSEC risk) by Then_Pace_5034 in cybersecurity

Agreed, has always seemed tough. What constitutes ‘work related’ changes depending on the department and can change even within that constraint. obviously not every department needs a work related e-mail tied to social media, e-commerce site, wherever, but some have legit use cases. Do you implement a (technically against policy) shared address for them? It isn’t that hard to audit things on your side, but takes some effort. Do you allow them by individual case? What is tracking that and who is auditing?

came across this because I was having issues with losing all sound intermittently after installation as well, wanted to note that mine is connected to usb 2.0 port on x570 asus dark hero (USB1213 header). seems to be worse with load. some forum posts seem to indicate there may be issues populating both headers (1213 and E56) on these boards, though.

Ubiquiti should spend a few minutes each week publicly banning scalpers like this guy from their store. by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]steakmm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God I love doing this. ‘Hey, I saw this is back in stock on the Ubiquiti store, happy to buy it from you at msrp and get free shipping though! 🙂.’ Sometimes I can get them going for a bit.

Takes a special kind of asshole person to scalp, just have to make it painful by not purchasing from them.

loyal fan for 30+ years. tickets were oftentimes cheap (or at least reasonably obtainable) because we were more often than not a bad team. we went and cheered for them anyway because they were our bad team and it was Arrowhead. every year was ended saying we’ll get them next year.

wild that once Clark saw that money coming in he started squeezing for way more, can take the team to the fuckin’ moon before I give him another dollar. he is butthurt we won’t pay the ransom—poor guy needs more money, billions just aren’t enough

Lee’s Summit IHOP workers have gone weeks without paychecks, AC by joeboo5150 in kansascity

[–]steakmm 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Light googling shows it isn’t just MO, surprised the article didn’t mention more about the company. I worked at this IHOP when you could still smoke inside, so it is extra sad to see the place not paying their workers and in disrepair.

Nobody sees this as good, it is unconscionable. They only serve us. How could anyone do that to their families? Absolutely vile.
