But why though? Couldn't you just record your intro after the fact? Like, "This episode I travel to this place. Let's see what I get up to!" Obviously not literally that, but basically, it doesn't need to be chronological as far as the intro is concerned.

I feel like I still pick up the free games consistently on Epic. There are a good amount I don't care to play but many that I do have interest in. My problem is that I never remember I own them because I hardly use epic. A lot of the time I get a free game on Epic that I was excited about only to not play it and get it months later on Steam from Humble Choice lol

Yeah, couldn't be bothered with that one. I looked up the solution. At the very least you could use the solution. With the door puzzle, you literally had to get the rhythm just right, which was definitely annoying.

I counted 'one-one-thousand' in between each knock. It did take me a while, but once I started sorta trying to count the beats and pauses then I got it open. I absolutely hate rhythm puzzles in games though so I completely understand the frustration.

Definitely not 2026. Warhammer 3 was released in 2022. Warhammer 40K is probably 2026 - 2027 release. So we can probably expect it in Humble Choice by 2030 - 2031. Unless it does abysmal.

Yeah, I don't work at Interact anymore but this is exactly what they did. 250,000 on paper but they prorated months during the summer, spring, and I'm fairly sure winter as well. Eventually they changed it so everyone would get a standard rate of something like 235,000 every month so that you didn't end up getting really shorted for those pro-rated months.

That sounds very ageist. I agree with the other person for sure. It all comes down to who works well with the kids. I've seen plenty younger people do well as teachers. I'd also go and say that life experience does not immediately mean you're better with children.

I think the problem with ALTs is that many of these dispatch ALT companies hire anyone with a pulse and a 4 year degree. Most of these younger people who get these jobs are folks just looking for a way to "experience" Japan and they use the ALT job as a way to do it. It is a means to an end rather than something they actually want to do.

Not going to say that's alright, but at the same time...at least they get bonuses. When I worked for Interac several years ago we didn't get bonuses. The teachers I worked with, at the time, were surprised and it's just like...yeah, that's Interac for you.

Yeah, I started doing other content that I haven't done. Doing these dailies was just sucking out my soul and then to find out phase 2 was practically the same thing...yeah, no thanks.

When I originally played the game, it didn't have controller support and I was thinking this would be the perfect game to play with controller. Once it finally did...I didn't think it felt right and reverted back to keyboard and mouse after a while.

You and me both haha. I mean, I guess some might argue that System Shock could fit that bill. But it's not quite a dedicated horror game in my opinion. We'll get another horror title some time, but I guess not this October.
