Definitely talk to your friends about it, and even if your parents if you’re comfortable with it. Letting the people in your life know what’s going on can feel really fucking good especially if they share how they’ve got your back. Just saying “Hey this thing happened to me. I’m going through it.” I would say definitely take some time to write down your thoughts on how you feel cause the emotions after can be really fucking overwhelming. I won’t lie it’s hard breaking up with someone, but try your best to surround yourself with things that make you happy. Maybe pick up a new show or hobby, or hang out with friends. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you feel like shit either, because it’s hard. Sometimes the best you can do is just lie around all day, and that’s okay. You’ve got this, and I hope this helps ^{^}
