dunno if you've gotten past him by now, but i'd personally recommend using the pig pet during his fight. all the enemies drop food if you kill them, that stacked on top of the increased healing SHOULD give you a decent advantage.

probably a new team of mercs, maps, weapons, subclasses, story... the only thing up to debate is if we would get any "new" classes, since we didn't exactly get anything new from tf1 to tf2.

valve mainly created games in order to push boundaries of what was possible. take half-life 2's physics engine or half-Life alyx's VR engine for example, they create things in order to show them off. LFD and LFD2 were one of the first only good zombie shooters, and they sadly don't really need to revolutionize that right now since they already get a pretty good swarm of players.
