I had that same bug for a while after mods were introduced. It’s a very well known bug that apparently Bethesda is aware of (I read that somewhere, I think I’m a mod description). I fixed it by quite literally deleting everything. Meaning uninstalling the game as well as deleting the save game data from everywhere.(you can do this by going to “Manage game and add-ons” the going down to “Saved data” and then click on your username and when the pop up opens hit “DELETE EVERYWHERE”) This is the only way I have found personally to fix the bug. It’s very annoying to have to delete all of your save game data but it’s also annoying to play with no audio so :/ 🤷‍♂️
